If more than 12 horses in a race is there still field wagering? Also when did field betting stop if no longer available wager.
Answer: Not sure I understand the question here. By 'field wagering' are you referring to placing a wager with on course bookmakers?
In the UK you may place a bet with on course bookmakers however many horses are running in a race. Betting on a race only stops when the race begins.
With online bookmakers and exchanges you can continue betting until the race finishes. If there is a photo finish you can even bet on the outcome of the judges decision as to which horse won the photo.
