Handicap Anomaly?

14.50 handicap at Thirsk 23/7/21
In this Race the top weight has an OR of 67 and carries 10 st.
No.4 on the card has an OR of 71 yet carries 9 st 3 lb.
How can this be???
Answer: This is probably due to the weight for age allowance. The 71 rated horse is a 3yo and the 2nd highest rated horse at OR 67 and carrying top weight is a 4yo.
