What are programmes in the context of horse racing?
What about racing papers?
Answer: Horse Racing Programmes are otherwise known as racecards. They show details of each runner in each race of a meeting.
Usually this will include information concerning the owners, trainer and jockey and sometimes past form. Each entry usually concludes with comments of the horse's chance in the race and forecast odds.
Racing Papers such as the Racing Post in the UK and DRF in the US will show this information in greater detail, online and in their print publications.
