The Glamour of Ladies Day at Newmarket Question: Where do you think you can pick up £73,000 plus for free by doing the things you love? Answer: Just by attending certain race meetings throughout the UK Puzzled? The events in question are 'LADIES DAYS' Yup, I was staggered when I started researching this subject and it's set to get even bigger. Ladies days are by far the most popular racing events and attract huge crowds. So all you female subscibers start sorting out your best glad rags and the guys now have a perfect excuse to get wives, partners, sisters out to those Ladies Days and start bringing home some of that largesse.

Aintree: - Aintree When: Grand National Meeting in April Friday needs no introduction and is known as Ladies’ Day when Aintree’s famous Style Contest takes place and when racing and socialising provide a platform for the start of one big weekend in the city. Featuring: The John Smith’s Topham Steeple Chase, The John Smith’s Melling Steeple Chase and The Sefton Novices’ Hurdle. On Ladies' Day, judging will take place on the catwalk within The Style Enclosure in Red Rum Garden between 12.30pm and 2.30pm. Finalists will be selected, including those from Thursday's photographic round, and invited back to Aintree on Grand National day, Saturday 5th April as a VIP guest, when the Grand Final will take place. However in 2008 Ascot Racecourse will be scouting for a new and undiscovered female personality that best complements the glamour and elegance of the world's most famous racecourse. Takes place on the opening two days of Royal Ascot 2008, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th June.
