Hi

Back from Ireland and straight back to the build up to our NH runners next weekend.

In Ireland we saw a Black Type ( very well bred ) 3 year old filly that the Breeder wants us to lease with a view to giving her back at the end of her career for him to breed from. She will arrive next Spring- from the breeder of Blame Rose.

Meanwhile we also visited Ian Hannon and his family whom we have dealt with for a number of years – I saw a very nice, immature -but will grow into a lovely horse -by Mizzou ( sire of Samwise aka Blaze ). He is 3 years old broken in and negotiations are ongoing..

The hospitality in Ireland is second to none and Thomas and Rose now have a lovely 3 double bed town house to rent out in Killarney – centre of racing and a lovely town – ask for details I am sure Rose will sort mates rates! We were lucky enough to stay there.

Back to the UK – Foals are settling down and getting handled now – soon they will start going back out into the field – but not with their mums!

Friday morning saw us at Newcastle Racecourse for an early morning gallop with our ‘gallop watcher’ Brian.

Kilmore was ridden by Codey – he goes for his amateur licence in October and made a good job of Killy.

Josh rode the big boy Dancer while Jamie had his arms stretched all the way by Sunny – she pulled all the way and still found more at the end of 2 miles.

Nathan rode Blaze and was very happy with him. So now we proceed to our start of the NH season proper – with 6 wins already –

2nd October Musselburgh Rogers Dream now for the Naughty but Nice syndicate.

4th October Hexham – Jimlis Island – x 2 entries

Atomic Angel and Buddy in the 3 mile

Whispering Dancer – Novice Hurdle for The Dancers – just 5% left in this small partnership?

See a Stride – Franks horse leased to Susan Corbett Racing makes her debut – they put her up 6lbs for moving houses from Ireland to here!

5th October – MS Dinner at Kelso followed by the Wheelchair challenge the next day before racing with Josh and Nathan making up our team – you have to ‘buy’ the team anyone care to put in a bid? All in a good cause!

6th October – Kelso

Buddy – maybe

Champ Royal – Chase 0 120 3.2

Kilmore Rock – Novice Hurdle – 2.5

Samwise – Novice hurdle 2 miles

And so it begins……

Best
