KING CASPER 1.50 Haydock 4/1 – KING CASPER’s Newmarket success looks even stronger now with the form being boosted since, and with more to come, I’d expect him to go close despite a higher mark.

DIAMOND RAIN 2.25 Haydock 11/4 – DIAMOND RAIN showed plenty of promise as a juvenile and, returning as a lightly-raced filly from a top yard, she looks well placed to build on that and make a winning reappearance.

FREDDY ROBINSON 3.20 Beverley 2/1 – FREDDY ROBINSON doesn’t win often, but his recent second over this course showed he's in form, and stepping back up in trip could be exactly what he needs to get his head back in front.

MAELSTORM 4.10 Haydock 15/8 – MAELSTORM looks a 3-y-o going the right way. He’s made light work of things so far this season and, even with a 6 lb rise, he still looks well treated for the hat-trick bid.

CLAIM THAT SMILE 7:00 Windsor 20/1 each way – Has had the mandatory 3 runs to get his mark of 60, catching the eye at Kempton on debut before being well backed at Chelmsford on his second start where he underperformed from the worst of the draw.

He finished last at Wolves LTO, but he was a tad keen in that race, and after becoming slightly short of room down the straight, his jockey was quick to throw win the towel with it being his final start before getting a mark.

He could be well handicapped off 60 if he takes well to the turf, and at a track where Stuart Williams has a good record with his 3yo handicappers, from a good draw there might be a bit of value in his price.
