TODAY'S LUCKY 15

TREANMOR 2.30 Ascot 6/4 – The Chesham Stakes kicks off the final day of Royal Ascot 2025, and there are nine runners set to go to post. This looks to be a straight shootout between the top two in the betting, and we will slightly favour Charlie Appleby’s Treanmor, who was highly impressive last time. Earning an RPR of 95 and going clear in the final furlong, this horse looks like he should be suited by the step up to 7f and could give Moments of Joy a proper challenge on Saturday afternoon.

ELARAK 3.10 Newmarket 2/1 – ELARAK took a big step forward from his debut to win with authority at Lingfield last month, and with his pedigree suggesting there’s plenty more to come, I’m backing him to follow up under a penalty before moving up in grade.

ZARZYNI 3.21 Redcar 9/2 – ZARZYNI wasn’t disgraced in a hotter contest at Hamilton last time and now drops into slightly calmer waters. He’s only 2 lb higher than when winning at Musselburgh recently and looks fairly treated to get involved again.

SOBER 6.10 Ascot 5/6 – The Queen Alexandra Stakes is a real test of stamina to complete the festival and is held over 2m 5f. Not many runners are proven over this trip, but Tashkan and Trooper Bisdee have shown potential over longer distances. The favourite Sober is hard to oppose in this event with Ryan Moore jumping on board for Willie Mullins. It’s two wins on the bounce for this six-year-old, and although there will be no obstacles this time around, this runner was not fazed by the hurdles last time out.

SEAGULLS ELEVEN 4.20 Ascot 18/1 each way – The Group 3 Jersey Stakes is competed over the 7f and with the shortest priced runner at around 5/1, it is a hugely competitive renewal of this contest. There are some unexposed runners in this race, including Spy Chief for the Gosdens, who won at York over a shorter distance last time out.

At a bigger price, Seagulls Eleven might be worth taking a chance on. This runner went close on three occasions over this trip, and although it hasn’t performed over the mile, it has been consistently competing in high-quality affairs and shouldn’t be fazed by this event.
