Hi Folks

First of all an invite to join in our yard competition – free to staff and Owners pay £10.00 to Cancer research – fill in the form with your opinion of which of our horses will be the yard stars from September – April – Points awarded and £100.00 first prize –closes 20th September just a bit of fun but the team are being very competitive!

A busy week with Tuesday standing out with a racecourse gallop for Wor Verge and Velasco – they will run Sept/ Beginning of October. Racecourse debut for Naughty George – he was great – calm, straight and such a professional with ADM to do a piece of work and hold his hand. Then we went off to Carlisle with Mekbat – who showed improvement to be 4th – he has not had a break for a while so he is getting one while the sun is still shining to give him a chance to strengthen up.

All the horses are coming to fitness now and we had Nathan Moscrop in to stake his claim on his previous rides for us – he will ride Wor Verge at Perth all being well. Foals will be weaned in September and the yearlings are growing well.

No runners this week ( be plenty soon! ) just the Open Day for National Racehorse week.
