JUPITER DES MOTTES 1.48 Carlisle 3/1 – JUPITER DES MOTTES was still going well when badly hampered at the second last on his return for Nicky Richards at Haydock and that run can be upgraded. With that under his belt, I expect him to come on for it and go close here.

MIDNIGHT GUN 1.55 Musselburgh 7/4 – MIDNIGHT GUN hasn't had much racing for a 5-y-o and showed last year that he's capable of winning off this sort of mark. Freshened up after 5 months off, I think he can make a winning return.

DANCE AND GLANCE 2.15 Haydock 4/1 – DANCE AND GLANCE wasn't at his best in testing conditions at Newbury last time and that run is easy enough to excuse. His previous form was solid and I expect him to get back on track and continue progressing.

PARK ANNONCIADE 5.25 Huntingdon 5/1 – PARK ANNONCIADE showed he's thriving for his new yard when just worn down late at Plumpton 3 weeks ago. A repeat of that effort puts him firmly in the picture and I think he can go one better.

TRIPLE TRADE 3.20 Haydock 15/2 each way – TRIPLE TRADE makes plenty of appeal at the prices, having already proven himself in veterans' company with a win at Sandown in January. His third in a competitive Cheltenham handicap reads well and I'm happy to ignore his latest outing. On the balance of his stronger efforts, I think he's been underestimated.
