EVANESCO 2.10 Newmarket 5/2 – EVANESCO landed the Silver Bell Handicap at Hamilton in August before producing another strong effort when fifth in a valuable big-field handicap at Leopardstown. He's already proven over both the course and distance and brings a strong level of form into this contest. I think he's got an excellent opportunity to get back to winning ways.

REVELS 3.20 Redcar 9/4 – REVELS made a winning debut here before following up in a 6f nursery at Glorious Goodwood, and he took another step forward when fourth in the Group 2 Mill Reef at Newbury two weeks ago. That form sets a strong standard now dropping into Listed company and I think he's got every chance of recording his third victory.

THUNDER CALL 3.35 Ascot 3/1 – THUNDER CALL has developed into a highly progressive 3-y-o for William Haggas, winning three of his last six starts and rarely finishing outside the first two. He produced another career-best effort when winning over this C&D last time and, although he's 8 lb higher in a stronger handicap, I think there's enough improvement left for him to remain firmly competitive.

ZIGGYS TRITON 5.40 Redcar 7/2 – ZIGGYS TRITON has already won twice this year, including when taking advantage of a drop into this grade at York in July. He returned to his best when beaten just half a length by a lightly raced and potentially well-treated rival at Southwell last week. That was a strong effort and, with the race likely to be run to suit, I think he's got an excellent chance of going one better.
