What is the 100 Club?

The 100 club was formed to provide race tips for horses that I personally will back with a reasonable size stake up to £100

Can anyone join?

Anyone can sign up to become a member of the 100 Club

How much does it cost?

The race tips are given out free in cycles of 5. If there is a loser, the cycle starts again until there are 5 straight winners. Anyone who joins the cycle at any point and benefits from the winning race tips will then be required to pay the £10 fee to continue to receive selections in the next cycle and so on.

Why is the 100 Club different?

Few tipsters back their own recommendations but I only advise the bets I actually make and provide proof of the wagers as seen from the copies of my betting slips.

How does it work?

Avoid using credit cards. I Withdraw the money from my account and place the bets at the bookmakers. In this way one can better appreciate the fact there is a risk of losing it. You also have the cash in hand to spend as you please. ie you enjoy the feel-good factor.

It's too easy to download funds to a bookmakers or Betting Exchange using your plastic card. When you win you are unable to access it for about 5 days if you transfer it to your bank account. The chances are, you will have been tempted to place another wager and lose what you have just gained.

Avoid placing small wagers.

If I am just risking the odd £10 here and there I tend to feel it is only a small amount so it doesn't really matter. But of course over a period of time it all adds up.

Place wagers to win a certain amount to fund a specific project. For example I have placed bets to boost funds for a holiday.

I placed two bets prior to going away:

I'm So Lucky, a David Pipe jumps horse far outclassed the opposition and was able to win by 13 lengths SP 1-2. A £100 bet realises £50.

Septimus an Aidan O'Brien flat horse racing at the Curragh on his belated return since last year. This is a very high class horse, comparable to Yeats and with his trainer in blistering form another £50 wager at 1-2 SP produced another £25.

As the holiday week progressed another couple of wagers enabled me to top up funds. On Wednesday Simondiun won a hurdle by 18 lengths at SP 8-11 and yesterday Tanto Faz won at an early price of 4-5.

Obviously I avoid betting more than I can afford to lose but equally it is large enough to make me think carefully about handing over my cash in hand.

I send out race tips that I myself will be happy to wager up to £100 to win. These selections will be supplied without charge until there are 5 successive wins.

At this point subscribers will be given the option to continue receiving these race tips for a £10 subscription. This will continue until another 5 successive wins are achieved. When joining you are given the option of starting immediately or waiting until the beginning of a cycle.

18/09/08

Re 100 club, another nice little earner yesterday and £52 in the piggy bank, thanks to you! Cheers Richard

I would just like to commend you on the progress to date of the 100 club, well done. I think it is a very sound betting practise that you are employing here.

Best regards. Richard

I'm increasing my stake, but I'm not quite a fully paid-up member of the 100 club. I staked £40 at 1.46, so I'm happy! Cheers, Peter

Well done again! I backed the horse on Betfair and got 1.6. I think the 2nd favourite was 16, though Awash was trading at 7. Keep up the good work.

Cheers, Peter

Hi Chris, thanks for first winner I must admit I tread a bit carefully for the first one and staked £25 at 1/2 with Bet365. regards, Anthony.

Hi Chris, Thanks again, once again I played safe and only invested £25. I managed to get 4/7 with bet365.but still a small profit, excellent. regards Anthony.

Well done again. An embarrassing winning distance-15 lengths! I put down a score with Betfair and returned £9 minus the usual commission. Cheers, Peter

Nice win pleased to say that I placed £50 at 1.53 on Betfair, so slightly over £25 after commission, thanks! all the best Richard

Count me in! You did what you said you hoped for and I'm convinced. Cheers, Peter

Race Tips Results to date

18/07/2008 Hamilton 9.00 Aleatricis 1-8 SP won

Won at Ayr on Monday by 9 lengths and goes unpenalised for that win. Conditions should suit and should have too much class for the rest. I'll put £100 down at Ladbrokes and as it is a late race I will have to collect from the Newquay branch on Saturday. If all goes to plan I shall order some eggs Benedict from my favourite restaurant to celebrate.

23/07/2008 Worcester 2.40 Indian Pipe Dream 1-4 SP won

Track, trip and ground all suit this David Pipe hurdler who won last time out by 9 lengths.

The form was franked yesterday when runner up that day, Kilcannon Supreme, won a similar contest at Bangor.

Main rival, Millards Lad has fair chase form but is yet to win a hurdle race for his out of form trainer.

An early price of 8-15 will return £26 on a £50 wager and I will be comfortable with that.

25/07/2008 Wexford 5.35 Carlesimo won 4-9 SP

Stratford 2.35 Johnny Bissett 2-5 SP won

Talented hurdler and runner up to high class Nicholl's horse Woolcombe Folly last time out. Winner of 2 bumpers and competing in competitive class 3 hurdle races Faces nothing of that quality here while course, trip and going will suit. £100 stake realises £40 for the back pocket.

Gowran Park 7.05 Masterofthehorse 1-5 SP won

Debut 2nd behind Gran Amhras at Naas 2 weeks ago. The winner having the benefit of a previous outing in a race which has since produced a couple of high class winners.

Should improve for the run and can confirm form with 2nd in the betting, Shakalaka who was 2l away in third.

Trainer Aidan O'Brien is in exceptional form even by his own high standards.

Johnny Murtagh, his jockey, is riding out of his skin.

Race Tips Cycle 2 - Newton Abbot 6.40 Roby De Cimbre 1-4 SP won

High class chaser who showed a good attitude to win a similar race last time out. Acts on the soft ground and is champion trainer, Paul Nicholls' only entry today. Top jockey Sam Thomas (won Cheltenham Gold Cup on Denman) does the steering.

Leopardstown 2.10 Famous Name 1-2 SP lost

2nd in a Group 3 race in France very classy and good prospects

Doncaster 3.10 Rainbow View 1-3 SP won

Comes here at the top of her game and ran right away from her rivals in in the Group 3 Sweet Solera at Newmarket last month, recording a fine time figure in the process.

100 Club Race Tips Graphic of bet slip too poor to display

Sandown 3.30 Wingwalker 1-2 SP won

Holds a few major entries this backend and was the subject of good reports ahead of his debut early last month, when winning tidily despite taking a grip early; that boosted by three of the next four going on to win since and the one to beat.

Unfortunately I failed to get on this one Folkestone 3.20 Anne Of Kiev lost 1-2

Market Rasen 3.55 Ouzbeck lost

Comes into this race unbeaten in chases and excellent chance of continuing the trend.

Unseated his rider
